The lions were interesting. They had no fear of human intervention at all. In fact it was like we were not even there. They
were up close as you can tell from the photos. The cubs were cute. I am also sure they could be quite dangerous were we not
in our tin boxes and out of their road.




The Maasai village was interesting. Here is a photo of the school house. It is open to the air. The system has one year of
pre-school this building beside the village. Seven years of grade school, taught is Swahalli, located near the village, mandatory.
Four years of secondary school, in a central location, taught in English, optional. College is for the few and in the city.

The cars were treated like another tree or rock to be walked around.

Zebras were everywhere in pretty large herds. What a waste of a donkey with a neat paint job. The guide explained that there
backs were too weak to carry much of a load, and they were dumber than dirt so very difficult to train.
